My holidays where ok just nice to get away from work for 2 weeks. I'm heading to the Saltees on Sunday, really looking forward to that.

You need to download a plugin called subscribe to comments. Another plugin you should look at is gravatar. It will show users avatar in the comments. You will notice there is a blank space for it before your name on this page.

Anyway, have a great time in Valentia and get well soon. Looking forward to meeting up again one of these days!

Came out yesterday Darren. Had a fairly big operation two weeks ago but I think it has finally banished the infection. Hopefully!! Still very weak but heading to Valentia next week regardless. I'll drop up to the Peoples Photography but wouldn't be able to participate.
I was just thinking of you BTW and wondering how your holidays went. I haven't had a chance to look at your site yet.

Quick question.... As yoy are using the sameish theme on your blog, how can I set my comments up so that someone can be informed of replies to a comment like on yours?

Absolutely amazing shot. I gather it was taken with a telephoto lens? It has that compressed look. I just love the pained expression on the rower's face, and the lines formed by their arms and the oar are perfect.
