I went for a stroll along the Royal Canal yesterday after the fog had cleared. I didn’t take many photographs, just a few macros. I’ve noticed that after a fog the plants and grass are full of micro drops. These can make for exciting close-ups. This shot again shows the value of the extra megapixels of the 5D Mk II. You will see from the original below that this is just a small section of the frame. You could still get a decent 8″ x 8″ (20cm x 20cm) print from it as well. I have also added another shot at the end in which the focus is more on the drops.
